Ever since opening a web site to exhibit my unique Tantric
mandalas, I've wanted to offer other beautiful things like small statues and
ritual objects to adorn a sacred space or personal altar. Like my art, the
collection is a blending of East and West and for anyone on a spiritual journey
into higher consciousness on the Tantric yoga path whatever their religious
belief.
All items in the collection have been chosen for superior
quality and represent the mystical union of one's inner masculine and feminine
energies, the Tantric symbol of enlightenment. They offer powerful feng shui
enhancement for any relationship areas of your life and are perfect companions
for my mandalas.
If you would like to know more about meditation with a mandala
and setting up a Tantric personal altar, please refer to the article noted in
the index on the left ("Tantric
Mandala Meditation") for a delightful little ceremony that invokes the healing
and self-integrating potential of this ancient art form.
Princess Mandarava
was the principal consort of the 8th Century
Indian master Padmasambhava before he introduced Tantric Buddhism to Tibet. A
remarkable woman even for today, she was the Indian counterpart of the Tibetan
consort Yeshe Tsogyal. Mandarava appears in deified form as a yidam (personal

In the 8th Century,
Padmasambhava, a legendary and highly
learned saint and great Tantric magician from Northern India was invited to
Tibet by their King to breathe new life into Buddhism which was being overun by
the pagan Bon religion. He succeeded in subduing their demons bringing them into
Vajrayana Buddhism as dharmapalas or guardians. Thus, he put into practice one
of the essential elements of tantrism, namely that negative forces should not be
destroyed but transformed and channeled into positive, salutary powers. He is
also known as the Tantric Buddha, comprising in his person all the attributes of

The story of Radha
(daughter of a cow herder) and Lord Krishna is recalled as a love legend of all times. Radha's rapturous love for Krishna
and their relationship is often interpreted as the soul's quest for union with
the divine and symbolically represents the highest form of love between
husband and wife, lover and beloved. Shri Krishna is the soul of Radha and
Radha the soul of Shri Krishna in his undivided form of both masculine and
feminine aspects. She is worshipper as well as "Radika" his deity to be

Shiva, a member of a trinity of Hindu deities, is one of the most
complex gods of India, embodying many seemingly contradictory qualities.
He is both the destroyer and the restorer, the great ascetic and the
symbol of sensuality, the celibate and the lover of his spouse and family
man, the benevolent herdsman of souls and the wrathful avenger. Shiva is
represented above as the Divine Yogi in his ascetic form isolated in
meditation in his cave in the Himalayas where he manifests as the Divine Hunter ("Lord of the Beasts") in command of time, life and death.
As legend goes, the goddess Parvati after herself performing
rigorous penance in the forest to merit his attention aroused Shiva
from his meditation and his cave to embrace her as his wife.
Inspired by her beauty, Shiva became a wellspring of the arts,
dance and drama. She awakened his concern for the world through
her questions on various issues, and in answer Shiva revealed
the secrets of the Tantras and the Vedas that he had gathered over
eons of meditation.

Although she was born human,
Parvati, daughter of the Himalayas, became the consort of the aesthetic Hindu Lord Shiva by winning
him over with rigorous penance after her singing, dancing and making
herself beautiful failed to gain his attention. So committed was she to
this path that Parvati changed the color of her skin from black to gold,
thus becoming known as Uma, meaning "light" or "beauty."
Uma Parvati is
also known as Mahadevi (great goddess), the Female Principle, consort of
Hindu God Shiva, lover, mother, provider and embodiment of beauty.

Durga Devi, the great goddess and consort of Shiva in the
tradition of ancient India, is venerated for her two aspects of benevolence and
fierceness. Here, she is depicted in the latter as "Durga the Inaccessible."
Shiva and Durga Devi are regarded as the twofold personalization of Brahman, the
primeval substance. Shiva has no direct contact with the tangible elements of
the universe and is obliged to put forth a manifestation which has been
conceived as a wife or consort. Durga is Shiva's cosmic energy or shakti.
